Ingredients
Guardians Of The Forest Bath Bomb
1/3 Grass Bubble Bar
1/2 You've Been Mangoed Bath Oil

I wasn't sure I liked the scent of Guardians Of The Forest Bath Bomb when I first got it but mixed in with this Lush cocktail, I actually really like it. Once it starts fizzing away the cypress, oakmoss and rosewood scent changes and works really well with the fruityness of the bath oil and sandalwood of the bubble bar. Altogether this is a really uplifting bath leaves the water and incredibly green packed full of silver lustre. Just before getting out of the bath I used the Ocean Salt Body Scrub as I knew the lime scent would work really well.

Project Sample Use Up 043

project-sample-use-up-rottenotter-rotten-otter-blog 13
Alpha-H Balancing And Refining Mask | £29.50 // I really liked this mud mask and the larger sample size meant I was able to try it out properly.

Caudalie Premier Cru The Cream | £92.50 // I love the eye cream from the Premier Cru range but this facial moisturiser was a bit disappointing. At just under £100 I expect something impressive and this just wasn't.

Korres Santorini Vine Body Milk | £10 // The scent of this body lotion reminds me of summer so much!

Roques Oneil Therapie Restore Aura Spray | £28 // I'm making more of an effort to use up what I have, especially when it comes to samples, and this was one of the first things I made an effort to use up. It was nice and I loved the scent but there are other toners that I prefer.

Lush Orange Flower Lip Tint | £5.95 // As the name suggests, this lip tint was orange and was nice to use. It's not something I'd buy the full size of though but the sample size was very generous and the perfect way to try it out first.

Lush Gorilla Perfumes Imogen Rose Solid Perfume | £10 // Again this is one that I won't be buying but I enjoyed using it.

Lush 9 To 5 Facial Cleansing Lotion | £5.10 // Although I like the idea of using skin care from Lush, I wasn't a fan of this cleansing lotion. I much prefer balms to lotions and just find they work better with my skin.

Lush The Comforter Shower Cream | £4.95 // I already have the full size of this shower cream and like that I can use the bubble bar and body lotion together.

Lush 93,000 Miles Shower Jelly | £3.75 // This is another one that I have the full size of. It has quite a strong cinnamon scent with a hint of peppermint.

Lush Turkish Delight Roulade | £8.50 // As much as I love Lush, I really hate the roulades and still cannot believe that they changed some of my favourite products especially Dreamwash. I find the roulades soapy and hard to work with and I wouldn't buy the full size.

Tresemme Renewal Hair & Scalp 60 Second Treatment Shot | £5.49 // I've gotten quite a few of these treatment shots in various beauty boxes over the years and they're perfect for travelling. While I'm at home though I tend to stick with Philip Kingsley Elasticizer.

To Read | May 2016

to-read-may-2016-rottenotter-rotten-otter-blog

We are seventeen and shattered and still dancing. We have messy, throbbing hearts, and we are stronger than anyone could ever know…
Since taking this photo I've actually finished the two books from The Demon Trappers series by Lana Oliver and am now half way through the third book. I don't know why it's taken me so long to start reading the series! I must have this book sitting on my shelf for at least a year and then I read the two books over one weekend.

I included Golden Son in my last To Read post and I am determined to finish it this month! I liked the first book in the Red Rising trilogy but it took a while to get into and it's the same with Golden Son. Like I said in my last post, it feels like a huge chunk of the story is missing and I have no idea what's going on or what the characters are talking about.

Book recommendations welcome.

Skin Care Diary | April 2016

Throughout each month, I'll be keeping a skin care diary and jotting down what I use on a daily basis. At the end of the month, I'll tally up what has been used the most and share the products with you. I have combination skin that can change between being extremely dry, spot prone, oily and sensitive as well as having eczema flare ups.

Liz Earle Eye Bright | Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel | Jurlique Calendula Calming Mist | First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Concentrate | A-Derma Epthielle A.H Cream | Indeed Labs Hydraluron Moisture Jelly | Dior Creme De Rose.

This month has been about trying to use up some of my older skin care products. I get into the habit of using a new product when I buy it and forget about older products so it means that I have a lot of half empty products. This was the case with the Jurlique toner, FAB liquid serum and Hydraluron moisturiser. I've actually finished them all now and I am hoping to get to a point where I only have one product that I'm using for each skin care category.

Lush Kitchen | April 2016

For those who don't know, the Lush Kitchen cooks up small batches of exclusive products that are only available for a limited time until they sell out. The products available are a mix of Oxford Street exclusives, old favourites that have been discontinued or one off's. Since I've tried the majority of the Lush bath bombs and bubble bars that are in the permanent collection, I've been loving the Lush Kitchen and have been making an order pretty much every week. I'm mainly interested in the bath bombs, bubble bars, bath melts and shower gels. Although there are a few products that I have bought simply because I've never tried them before.

Instead of posting several different shopping posts, I'm going to be writing a little overview of the previous months Kitchen products. Since there is a limited amount of each made, then by the time each one arrives in the post it'll probably be sold out. Instead I'm hoping this post will high light any products you'd like to try in the future or simply because you're just as obsessed with Lush as I am.
lush-kitchen-april-2016-rottenotter-rotten-otter-blog This months Kitchen was a little bit disappointing for me although I'm sure my bank balance is grateful for it. The menus were either made up of products that I had tried before or products that just didn't interest me. I mainly buy the bath products and there's been a lot of skin care on offer instead. The Kitchen have also joined Snapchat this month which I've been loving and being able to see them making all the different products.

Bubbling Under Bubble Bar | £3.95 // This has been on my wish list for such a long time! It has the same scent as Big Blue Bath Bomb but in bubble bar form. I was a little bit disappointed in the size as I feel like it's a lot smaller than normal but am glad I am finally able to try it. I've heard the blue colour fades very quickly so it's one I'm going to make an effort to use straight away.

Mrs Whippy Bath Bomb | £4.00 // I love the look of this bath bomb and the scent is one of my favourites, a mix of cocoa absolute, almond and buchu. It's incredibly moisturising and soothing thanks to the soya milk. It works well with The Comforter Bubble Bar if you want to put a combination together.

Melonmint Bubble Bar | £3.95 // This is another one that has been on my wish list but I've actually already tried it before back when it was available through the Retro part of Lush's website. This one is spearmint and peppermint scented although you wouldn't think it from just looking at it.

Lemon Day's And Ginger Beer | £3.95 // I bought this last time it was in the Kitchen and really loved the lemon and ginger scent so I've bought another one. I have a few other ginger scented products I want to use together in a bath cocktail so this will be the bath bomb element.

Grass Shower Gel | £11 // I love the bubble bar version and so many people have raved about the shower gel I had to try it for myself. Grass is a mix of wheatgrass, sandalwood, bergamot and neroli.

Marathon Bubble Bar | £3.95 // This was a last minute addition to my order and I had no idea what it would smell like. I love the peppermint scent which is the most potent, at least to me, but I can smell a hint of something else which I think is the benzoin and olibanum. I can't think of any other products that this will work with so I think it's one I'll have to use on it's own. I can't imagine this is perfect if you have sore muscles or even feeling blocked and stuffy from a cold.

I also love how the Kitchen include these polaroids of who has made the products along with the product itself. It's a nice way of keeping track of what you've tried and when it was released when you don't have the product itself anymore.

Empties | April 2016

empties-april-2016-rottenotter-rotten-otter-blog
Liz Earle Spot-On // This sadly isn't available anymore but is my favourite spot treatment as it worked so well with my skin. I never liked the roller-ball packaging as it's not really hygienic but I just made sure I used a clean finger and never applied it directly onto a spot. I've had this for a really long time and although I didn't want to throw it away as it's only half empty, it was time to.

Le Soft Perfume // This is another one that technically isn't empty but it has dried out and I can't smell the perfume anymore so it was time to get rid of it. I loved the floral scent of this perfume but I just never reach for solid perfumes.

Bumble And Bumble Surf Infusion | £22 // I use this on my hair every time I wash it after I've used a normal salt spray and I couldn't be without it. It adds a bit of moisture back into my hair that the salt sprays take away and stops my hair from going frizzy.

Elie Saab L'eau Couture Le Parfum | £47 // I loved this version just as much as the original Le Parfum and now I really want to try the rose version that has just been released. I'm trying to work through the perfumes I have before buying anything new so I'm currently wearing YSL Black Opium.

Jurlique Calendula Redness Rescue Calming Mist | £29 // I really liked this toner and I find calendula works so well with my sensitive skin. I will be buying another bottle at some point.

Neutrogena T-Gel Therapeutic Shampoo | £6.99 // I've already bought another bottle of this coal tar shampoo as it helps to keep the eczema on my scalp under control. I've surprisingly grown to really like the strong scent which I never thought would happen.

Naked Neroli & Oatmeal Mild Shampoo // You can't buy this brand anymore which is a shame as they work well with my hair. I stocked up on this shampoo when they were on offer for £1 so I still have another bottle to use. It's a gentle shampoo that doesn't irritate my sensitive scalp.

Indeed Labs Hydraluron Moisture Jelly | £24.99 // I was a bit disappointed with this Hydraluron moisturiser but I think it's because my expectations were too high. I love the original Hydraluron and how it makes my skin feel but the moisturiser version just wasn't hydrating enough for my skin. Once it sunk in my skin was left feeling like it still needed something else on top which I don't find with the other moisturisers I have.

Liz Earle Eye Bright | £13.25 // I think this is probably in most of my empties posts as it's my most used product. I use it daily to remove my mascara and then as a treatment when my eyes are feeling irritated.

Deep Steep Honeydew & Spearmint Bubble Bath // I loved the scent of this bubble bath although you wouldn't think honeydew melon and spearmint went together but it works. I can't seem to find this online anymore so not sure what has happened to the brand but I bought it from Feel Unique a while ago.

The Body Shop Virgin Mojito Body Scrub // I loved the scent of this one but didn't really like the actual product. I didn't find it abrasive enough and am not a fan of the micro beads in it. I'm currently using and loving Rub Rub Rub from Lush.

The Repurchases 011

the-repurchases-011-rottenotter-rotten-otter-blog
Sachuajuan Ocean Mist | £18 // I came to the end of this salt spray and moved onto one from John Masters since I'm trying to use up what I have before buying anything new. Needless to say it wasn't as good as Ocean Mist and I placed an order for a new bottle pretty much straight away. I love the design of the bottle and the spray is even. This never leaves my hair leaving crispy or dry but enhances my natural curl and keeps my hair under control.

Liz Earle Eye Bright | £13.25 // I think I've featured this in pretty much all my Repurchases posts and there is a reason for this. If I could only buy one skin care product then I'd probably choose this even over a cleanser. I have sensitive eyes and have reacted to other eye make-up removers but never have with eye bright.

John Masters Organics Scalp Serum | £23 // This is another one that I've repurchased over and over again and will carry on doing so. It helps to keep the eczema on my scalp under control and I love the mint scent.

Muji Thin Cotton Buds | £2.50 // It was Anna who first introduced me to these cotton buds and they have become an essential for me. I even have two back up packs so I'll never be without. I used to use the standard cotton buds for make-up error and they worked but could be a bit too big when I wanted to adjust eye liner or take away a mascara smudge. These are tiny and have become a bit of a life saver. I always seem to get mascara smudges on my eye lids when I apply it no matter how careful I am. Just apply a little bit of eye make-up remover to one and it lifts up all the smudges without ruining the rest of my make-up. Once you've bought your first pack then you can just buy the refills which work out a little bit cheaper.

Lush Kitchen | March 2016

For those who don't know, the Lush Kitchen cooks up small batches of exclusive products that are only available for a limited time until they sell out. The products available are a mix of Oxford Street exclusives, old favourites that have been discontinued or one off's. Instead I'm hoping this post will high light any products you'd like to try in the future or simply because you're just as obsessed with Lush as I am.
lush-kitchen-march-2016-rottenotter-rotten-otter-blog
Uluru Bath Bomb | £3.95 // The design of this bath bomb was inspired by Australian sunsets. The scent is sweet orange, lemon myrtle and sandalwood oils. I get quite a strong olive scent when I smell the bath bomb which I don't like but luckily I can't smell it once it hits the water though. Now I've tried it I wouldn't buy it again if it comes out again and I was able to take Uluru Shower Gel off my to try list because of this and so have saved myself a bit of money.

Tweet Bubble Bar | £3.95 // I love the design of this one and how each bubble bar differs slightly and each seems to have its own personality. The scent of this one is tangerine and is quite simple.

Ma Bar Bubble Bar | £3.95 // This honey and chocolate scented bubble bar is one of my all time favourites and I could not believe it was being discontinued. I've bought so many of them over the years but I never got a chance to stock up before they were discontinued so now is the first time I've been able to do so. I bought three which definitely isn't enough but there was a couple other products I wanted from the menu that week.

Wonder Woohoo Bubble Bar | £3.95 // This was a last minute addition to my order when I was buying Flutterby and Ma Bar. It shares the same ginger scent as The Sun which I have as a bath oil. It's not one of my favourites but I do like the scent and I think it'll work well in bath cocktails.

Choccy Egg Bath Bomb | £3.75 // There is something about the scent of this one that I just don't like and I think it's the mimosa. The mix of vanilla and chocolate just doesn't go well with the hint of floral. This also seems to be a bit smaller than the standard bath bomb but still the same price. Not so impressed with this one but I do like the design.

Fun With A Twist Fun Bar | £5 // I've wanted to own this Fun bar for such a long time as it is Twilight and Dragons Egg scented. I wouldn't have thought these two scents went together very well but they do. My plan was to use them separately and I have cut the bar up to separate the colours but I might try at least one bath using both scents. I cannot wait to use the purple part and have a Twilight scented bubble bath alongside the bath bomb and shower gel.

Flutterby Bubble Bar | £4.95 // So this bubble bar shares the same scent as the Yummy Mummy range. It's strawberries and cream scented and one of my favourites. I'm probably in the minority here, but I'm not a huge fan of the design of this one. I think the butterfly doesn't look very good and the bubble bar would have looked better without it. The bubble bar itself is huge though, similar to the size of The Comforter, so the price is a little higher than usual.

Somewhere Over The Rainbow Bath Bomb | £3.25 // Sadly this bath bomb came a little damaged but not as badly as I was expecting from seeing photos from others. I could only order one of these as it sold out pretty quickly. I can't wait to use this one! The scent is mandarin, neroli and rose.

Down The Rabbit Hole Bubble Bar | £3.95 // I love the fruit pastille scent of this bubble bar and I wish I had bought more than one!

Haagen Bath Bath Bomb | £4.10 // This is one of my favourites as I love the mint scent. I bought a couple of the Christmas Angel version a while ago but am glad to have the original design now. It's incredibly moisturising and the scent always makes me want a bowl of mint choc chip ice cream.

I also love how the Kitchen include these polaroids of who has made the products along with the product itself. It's a nice way of keeping track of what you've tried and when it was released when you don't have the product itself anymore.

I'm feeling a bit like a broken record with these skin care diary posts at the moment. I've been using the same mix of products and I'm actually happy with them. I also feel like I haven't bought any skin care products, apart from repurchases, in a really long time. I don't feel the need to try all of the different types of cleansers on offer or have six moisturisers on the go at one time like I used to.  Maybe I'll stop these monthly posts and just update as and when the products that I'm using change.

Empties | March 2016

empties-march-2016-rottenotter-rotten-otter-blog Lush Vanilla Fountain Bath Bomb // This is a simple bath bomb but it's one of my favourites. It's not a show stopper as it fizzes away in the water but I love the vanilla scent. It was out in the Kitchen the other month and I only managed to buy one so it'll be a while before I can use it again.

Lush Shark Infested Custard Bath Oil // I used this together with the Vanilla Fountain bath bomb as the two scents work really well together. I cut it in half so I could get two baths out of it as I thought it would be too oily if I used the whole thing. Half of the bath oil was just the right amount though.

Lush Divination Reusable Bubble Bar // This is one of my favourite Lush products as I love the parma violet scent. It won't be for everyone but I'm glad I bought a couple the last time they were available in the Kitchen.

The Body Shop Olive Body Butter | £14 // I always have at least one TBS body butter on the go and I really love the olive scent. I'm currently using, and loving, the passion fruit version.

Aesop Geranium Leaf Shower Gel | £31 // This came in a set with a body scrub which I've already finished and a body lotion that I'm still working my way through. I really love the geranium leaf scent although I find it hard to describe, it's one of those that you need to smell yourself to be able to understand it. I wouldn't spend £31 on the full size but I would buy the gift set again.

Lush H'Suan Wen Hua Hair Treatment | £9.75 // I sadly didn't manage to finish this hair mask before it expired. I made a mental note of the date it expired but it's a large pot and I think the only way I could have finished it all was if I used it every time I washed my hair which I didn't want to do. I kept it and used it a couple of times after the best before date but the fresh ingredients didn't look too good and it finally went in the bin. I'll be saving the empty black pot though so I can get a free face mask. As for the hair mask itself, it was pretty good but it didn't impress me as much as I had hoped.
Narciso Rodriguez Narciso Perfume | £39 // I can't decide if I prefer this or the pink bottled version but both smell amazing. I'm trying to use up my perfumes before buying anything new and at the moment I am using one from Elie Saab.

Sachajuan Ocean Mist | £18 // I'd say this is my favourite salt spray, that I've tried so far at least, and I'm sad to see it empty. I have a bottle of the John Masters version to use first but I can see myself repurchasing this one pretty soon. It helps to enhance my natural curl but doesn't leave my hair feeling crispy or sticky.

Naked Care Neroli And Cotton Seed Gentle Conditioner //
I bought about five bottles of this conditioner when I heard the brand was being discontinued about a year ago now. I think this is the third tube I've been through so I'm going to have to find a new conditioner soon. I really like this one as it doesn't irritate my scalp or face and it is exactly as the name suggests, gentle. It's also moisturising and I find a tube lasts me a really long time. It's a shame it's no longer available.

Modern Apothecary Eucalyptus & Lemon Myrtle Hand Soap //
This was a TKMaxx find and the scent was one of my favourites. The thing with these though is that they're almost impossible to find again and I tend to stock up when I do see them.

L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes Mascara | £9.99 // I seem to have stopped trying new mascaras and have just been buying this one from L'Oreal over and over again. If it's not broke, then why fix it? It does everything I want in a mascara and is often on offer.

Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara | £13.50 // The same goes with this bottom lash mascara. It's not the cheapest and I find it dries up pretty quickly but it works and I love it.

Liz Earle Eye Bright | £13.25 // I've probably been through about forty bottles of this over the years and at the moment it's the only eye make-up remover I use. Others irritate my skin and eczema but I have never had any problems with Eye Bright. It also works really well as an eye treatment for when my eyes do feel irritated and sore.

Lush Samples | Massage Bars

lush-samples-massage-bar-rottenotter-rotten-otter-blog

In terms of value for money, the massage bars are the best samples to ask for from Lush. The sample sizes are usually about a quarter of the size of the bars which works out to be about £1.50 worth. That's pretty good considering they're given out for free and depending on how much you spend on your order, you're usually given a couple of them if they're the only thing you've asked for. Over the past couple of months I've managed to get four samples of the Hottie Massage Bar which put together makes a full size.

The massage bars can be used for massage, obviously, but they can also be used as a body moisturiser which is perfect for the winter months. The main way I use them though is like you would a bath melt. I simply cut a small piece off and add it to a hot bath and it creates incredibly moisturising water. The massage bars have been included in quite a few of the Lush bath cocktails I've been trying out recently so these sample sizes have been ideal.

Reading | March 2016

reading-march-2016-rottenotter-rotten-otter-blog

In January I wrote about the books I wanted to read next and although I only read three out of the six, I'm back again with another new stack. I've been behind on my Goodreads Reading Challenge by one or two books pretty much each week and I can't seem to catch up!

Our Endless Numbered Days was an impulse buy while doing the food shop. I hadn't heard anything about it but liked the cover. I'm glad I picked it up though as I've heard more people talk about it recently. Ice Like Fire is the second book in the Snow Like Ashes trilogy. I wasn't a fan of the first book and felt like it could have been written in a paragraph as nothing really happened until the final thirty pages or so but I don't like to leave a series unfinished and am going to give it a try at least.

I finally finished Red Rising after starting it about six months ago and am now moving onto the next two. This is another series that I haven't liked as much as I thought I would. I loved the beginning but I didn't think the world building was that great and I found myself struggling to imagine it as I was reading the book. I've started Golden Son which I haven't gotten into yet despite having read seventy pages so far. If I can remember correctly, it starts two years after Red Rising ended but I feel like there's a whole book missing as there is no recapping or explanation on what's happened.

I finished the second book in the Daughter Of Smoke & Bone trilogy which was part of January's pile and have the third lined up to read next. It took a while for me to get into this series but now I love it and can't wait to read how it ends.
Common enemy, common cause.

Project Sample Use Up 042

project-sample-use-up-rottenotter-rotten-otter-blog 11
Lush Snow Fairy Shower Gel // I must have got this sample around Christmas time although I do have a full size bottle. I'm not a huge fan of the sickly sweet scents but I always buy a bottle of Snow Fairy when it's available.

Lush Needles & Pine Shower Jelly | £3.75 - £7.50 //  This shower jelly smells of pine needles and cypress leaf and it's a really strong scent. I tend to use the shower jellies to make bubbles rather than use them as soap. I already have the full size of this.

Lush 93,000 Miles Shower Jelly | £3.75 - £7.50 // This isn't one of my favourites as I find the peppermint and cinnamon a bit odd and doesn't work too well together.

Lush Refresher Shower Jelly | £3.75 - £7.50 // I love this lemon scented shower jelly and have the full size already.

Skin & Tonic Steam Clean Cleansing Balm | £27 // This is one of the more oiler cleansing balms and I have to make more of an effort when removing it that there isn't any residue left on my skin. I did really like this cleansing balm though and would buy the full size in the future. I also really liked the peppermint scent.

Omorovicza Thermal Cleansing Balm | £48 // This cleansing balm on the other hand is a dream to remove. I've been through a couple of these travel sized pots now and I really want to buy the full size but I'm trying to use what I have first.

Lush The Comforter Shower Cream | £4.95 - £27.95 // The Comforter Bubble Bar is one of my all time favourite Lush products and the shower cream is just as good.

Eucerin AtoControl Bath & Shower Oil | £15 // The 400ml bottle of this is £15 which I feel like is pretty expensive for what it is. I really liked it and it was worked well with my eczema but I think I'd try and get it on prescription so it works out a bit cheaper.

Lush Prince Charming Shower Cream | £4.95 - £27.95 // This limited edition shower gel is released for Valentines day and is a mix of pomegranate juice and grapefruit oil.

Lush Purple Fun | £5 // This was a really good sized sample and a good way to try the scents first before buying the full size. The purple fun reminds me of The Comforter. I tend to use the Fun bars as bubble bars and am able to get a lot of uses from the one bar.

Lush Yellow Fun | £5 // The scent of the yellow fun is vanilla and gardenia and is a more subtle scent compared to the others.

Lush 9 To 5 Facial Cleansing Lotion | £5.10 - £9.95 // There aren't a lot of Lush products that I don't like but I wasn't really a fan of this cleansing lotion. It's mainly because I prefer a cleansing balm or oil to a lotion. I wouldn't buy the full size of this.

Lush Enchanted Eye Cream | £12.95 // I should get into the habit of using an eye cream but it's the one step in my skin care routine that I usually miss out and just use my normal moisturiser all over my face. I also haven't found one that I really love so these sample sizes are perfect for me.

Lush Easter 2016

lush-easter-2016-rottenotter-rotten-otter-blog 1
Humpty Dumpty Bath Bomb | £6.95 // This bath bomb shares the same scent as Honey I Washed The Kids and it's one of my favourites. It's a sweet honey scent that I wish Lush used more often in their products. Although a bit creepy, I love the design of this one. It is huge but it is one of the more expensive bath bombs from the collection. Lush says you can get three baths out of it if you crack it in half as there's a fried egg bath bomb inside. I wasn't able to crack mine in half properly as the egg wasn't loose inside which was a shame as pretty much half of the bath bomb turned into dust.

Which Came First? Bath Bomb | £6.95 // This is another one that you can get three baths out of and I found it much easier to split in two. There's a cute mini chick bath bomb inside. This is probably my least favourite scent out of them all as it's quite floral and not my favourite.

Golden Egg Bath Bomb | £3.95 // This is one of my favourite Easter products and am glad to see it back this year. The scent reminds me of Ma Bar Bubble Bar, one of my all time favourites, and Honey I Washed The Kids. It's a strong toffee scent and works really well with other products in bath cocktails. This one is a little different to the normal bath bombs as contains a lot of cocoa butter and other oils. It's a bath bomb and bath melt hybrid. It doesn't fizz quickly like other bath bombs and if I put the whole thing into the bath, it only just dissolves as I get out. Instead I like to cut it into quarters and get a bit more out of my money.

Ultraviolet Bubble Bar | £4.95 // I love this bubble bar as it is huge and I can get about six baths from it. The scent is violet, jasmine and rosewood.
lush-easter-2016-rottenotter-rotten-otter-blog 2
Bouncy Bunny Gift Set | £18.95 // I mainly bought this gift set so I could try Spring Bunny Bath Bomb although mine didn't survive the journey to my house and half of it had been turned into powder. I'll still be able to use the solid half but it is a little disappointing. The bath bomb photographed was part of the carrot gift set which survived.
Spring Bunny Bath Bomb // This contains carrot oil although it's the lemon that overpowers the scent. It's a cute design but the bath bomb is pretty small.

Somewhere Over The Rainbow Soap | £4.25 // This soap is an odd one as when I smell it all I can smell is melted plastic but my mum likes the scent so needless to say, I have passed it onto her. The scent is meant to be lemon, neroli and mandarin.

Bouncy Bunny Shower Jelly | £3.95 // This has quite a subtle orange scent in the tub but I have heard that it's stronger when you actually use it.

Brightside Bubble Bar | £4.95 // This is an old favourite as I love the mandarin, bergamot and tangerine scent. It's really refreshing and creates a lot of bubbles and turns the water orange.
lush-easter-2016-rottenotter-rotten-otter-blog 3
Carrot Gift Set | £19.95 // I love the design of this one and it actually glows in the dark. I bought this set for the Spring Bunny Bath Bomb but also because I knew I wanted the Bunch Of Carrots Bubble Bar and Fluffy Egg Bath Bomb.
The Experimenter Bath Bomb| £3.95 //The smoky scent of this bath bomb is really unique and the colours and patterns it creates in the water is amazing to watch.

Fluffy Egg Bath Bomb | £2.95 // This is incredibly sweet and the scent reminds me of Snow Fairy. It doesn't do anything exciting in the water but is one I like to combine with others.

Bunch Of Carrots Bubble Bar | £6.25 // The scent of this bubble bar is quite hard to explain but is a mix of buchu, lemon and grapefruit. Last years was plain orange which I think I might have preferred. These are reusable bubble bars and I find I can get three or four baths out of each carrot so it's one of the more reasonable priced products from the Easter collection.
