Overexposed In South Beach

Overexposed In South Beach was one of the first OPI nail polishes I ever tried and if I remember correctly, I swapped it on makeupalley.com with another OPI nail polish I wasn't using. This polish is from the 2009 South Beach collection and although I loved it back then, it's just not a colour I like or reach for anymore. It's too dark and if I fancy wearing a purple nail polish, I usually choose a pale pastel shade. I'm also not a fan of the shimmer although you can't really tell it's there unless you look closely or in direct sunlight.

Application

The formula and application of this nail polish is great. It's opaque in two coats and has a really shiny finish. Since I've had it for around six years, it's thickened up a lot and has gone quite gloopy. Nothing a few drops of thinner won't solve though.
