Empties // March 2014
This Works Perfect Heels Rescue Balm // I'm so sad to see this tube empty! I really loved this foot balm and it works wonders at keeping my skin soft. I also loved using this on my elbows which can get extremely dry. I will be buying another tube of this at some point.
Mac Paint in Bare Canvas // I included this in my Shopping The Stash post from the other month and finally after having it for a few years, it is now finished. I used this as an base underneath shadows or just for a quick wash of colour and to even out my eye lids. The Mac Paints have gone up in price since I bought this one and I wouldn't buy another one again.
La Roche-Posay Thermal Spring Water // I've tried a couple of water sprays from different brands since discovering a new use for them, watch this video on how to cleanse with Isabelle Bellis. This one from La Roche-Posay though has to be my least favourite. The spray is very fine which is usually a good thing when it comes to a toner, but I need my face to be damp when cleansing and I feel like I have to use a lot more product. Also I can't get the last bit of product out. When I shake the can I can hear a lot of water still left but no matter how much I try and spray the bottle or turn it one way or the other, nothing is coming out. I won't be buying this again and will stick with a different brand. At the moment I'm using one from Avene.
Caudalie Lip Balm // I always carry a tube lip balm in my bag as it's more hygienic than a tub especially when I'm at work. I really love this one from Caudalie as it's extremely moisturising and smells really nice too. I seem to have through it pretty quickly but I have had very dry lips this winter. I'm currently using the Nuxe version so don't need to repurchase just yet, but I will at some point.
Ojon Volume Conditioner // This conditioner on the other hand I really loved. Although I haven't noticed any extra volume from using both the shampoo and conditioner, the conditioner is very moisturising and I'm able to brush through my hair a lot easier when I use this. If it was on offer then I would buy it again along with the shampoo. For now though I have a lot of other conditioners to use first.
Soap And Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub // I've been through countless tubs of this body scrub and it's one of my favourites. It smells amazing, reminds me of a coke with lime, and gets rid of every last bit of dry skin. It's also really moisturising and when I use it I feel like I don't need to follow up with a body cream. I've gone through a couple of tubs in a row recently so although I now I will buy it again, I want to try a new body scrub.
Space NK Laughter Nuit Perfume // Although technically this perfume isn't finished, this bottle is so I've included it in my empties as there's no point keeping the bottle. Last month I dropped this bottle when I was dusting my bookshelves and it stopped working. Not wanting to throw away a full perfume bottle I decanted it into a travel spray bottle so I can still use it. I really liked the original Laughter scent from Space NK but this Nuit version is even better. Although I still have the perfume left, I would buy it again in the future.
Tara Smith Curl Conditioner // I used to love this conditioner a few years ago along with the shampoo and went through several bottles of it. My hair/scalp got used to the shampoo and it started to irritate my scalp so I stopped using it. I had an unused bottle of conditioner left sitting in my cupboard so thought I may as well finish it. It's an ok conditioner but nothing special and I wouldn't buy it again.
