2013 Favourites // Make-Up

For this years favourite beauty products I've tried to pick out products I've tried, bought and fell in love with this year. I'm still loving every single product that I had in last years favourites but haven't included any this year so I'm  not duplicating things.
Real Technique Brushes // Before I bought a couple of the Real Technique sets, the make-up brushes I owned were a mix of cheap brushes that didn't work very well. Now I have brushes that are soft, wash well and simply apply make-up better. I definitely wont be buying cheap brushes again and want to buy the other sets I don't have.

Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector // I'm not a fan of lip gloss in general but these lip gloss-balm hybrids are amazing. I have the shades 02 a peachy-pink and 04 a light pink. Both look very natural on the lips and leave a hint of colour. I really want to try the other shades, especially some of the more pigmented ones.

Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Stick // Although I've only pictured the nude, I've been loving the berry and pink shades as well. Again these are another lip gloss-balm hybrid but with more colour to them. They also smell amazing!

Clinique High Impact Mascara // I've just bought another tube of this mascara which doesn't happen too often as I like to continuously try out different ones. This give volume, separates and defines lashes and gives length. What more could you want? It's also extremely black and the brush is just the right size.

Nars All About Eve Eyeshadow Duo // You can clearly see how well used this duo as I've hit pan on one of the shades. These are the perfect everyday shades for a quick wash of colour over the lids. They're slightly shimmery and apply really nicely, especially with said Real Technique brushes. I definitely want to try more Nars eyeshadows over 2014 and their eye primer.

Maybelline Colour Tattoo 24hr Cream Gel Shadow // Some of these colour tattoo shades aren't very good but this shade, Permanent Taupe, is one of the exceptions. Blended all over the lid it creates a quick and easy smokey eye perfect for day or night. This one also lasts a really long time without creasing unlike some of the others.

The Body Shop Honey Bronzer // I have extremely pale skin and haven't been able to use bronzer as they're just way too dark or orange. Finally though, with thanks to Estee, I have found a bronzer I can use. The Body Shops Honey Bronzer comes in a couple of shades and the lightest shade is perfect for those with pale skin. It's a matte bronzer so looks more natural plus I love the packaging.

  2. They once had a honey bronzer from MAC that looks so similar from the picture. I haven't been to the BS lately and it looks worthy to check out, even though I still have my MAC one (never enough bronzers, right?)

  6. The Nars All About Eve Eyeshadow Duo is pretty, I want to treat myself to a few of these Duo's in 2014. I always swatch them at the counter but talk myself out of purchasing them.

  7. I upgraded my brushes this year to Real Techniques too, so my brush collection doesn't look so mismatched! I'm so glad I did because they're the best brushes I've ever used and so worth the price. The Clarins Lip Protector is on my wishlist, if not to be able to slip the cute packaging in and out of my bag!

  9. The Clinique mascara has been one of my favourites in 2013 too, it's amazing. The Nars Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base has also been one of my staples, I don#t trust my oily eyelids with anything else!

  16. i don't even know what people used to use for affordable brushes before real techniques came along, they're such good quality, none of mine have ever shed a single hair and they dry so quickly when you wash them. i never hear a bad word spoken about them. same goes for the maybelline colour tattoos actually, i think i have most of the neutral shades since i just bought the taupe shade the other day but i think barely branded or bad to the bronze are my most used ones.
