China Glaze Strawberry Fields // two coats.
Jessica Top Priority Top Coat

I love pastel pinks and neon pinks when it comes to nail polishes but I'm not really a fan of the shades in between. I surprised myself when I had a sudden urge to wear China Glazes Strawberry Fields and loved it. I think I like it because it has a slight berry hint to it and it's pretty bright. The gold shimmer in it is pretty but I want like to see how this polish looks without it.

Formula wise this has to be my favourite all time polish to apply. It almost feels like a gel when you apply it, not a liquid. The first coat goes on like a dream and the second evens out the colour to become opaque. If only all nail polishes could be like this one.

I did ruin it though by using Jessica's Top Priority as a top coat. Even after thirty mintues the top coat still wasn't dry and I have smudged a few of my nails. I hate throwing products away but I really can't see how I'll ever be able to finish it. It's ruined all the manicures I've used it with and even if the colour polish is dry it'll still transfer onto the top coat brush. Anyone else used this? How have you gotten on with it? All the reviews I read before buying it where raves!

  2. Such a gorgeous colour, it really flatters your skin tone. Shame about the topcoat, there's nothing worse than applying polish and then it being wrecked. x

  3. I love Strawberry Fields, it's just so pretty! I haven't used this top coat but I find the same with my Nails Inc one, I always get dents in it no matter how long I leave it, I'm trying to use it up but it's tough! xx
