Empties: April 2013
Bioderma Crealine H20 Micellar Solution - This is my favourite micellar solution and make-up remover I've tried so far and I'm sad to see the bottle empty. I've just started a large bottle of the Tajj version so I think it'll be a while before I'll be buying another bottle of this but I certainly will be. It doesn't irritate my eyes and gets off every last scrap of make-up.
Queen Eye Make-up Remover* - I liked this when I first tired it and probably used about half of the tub until I discovered other products. It was left unused for a while until the start of this month when I decided to use it again but for some reason now hate it. I don't know if the product itself had changed as I hadn't used it for a while but it irritated my eyes really badly that I couldn't even finish it.
Liz Earle Brightening Treatment Mask* - I really enjoyed using this mask and even though it says not suitable for those with sensitive skins I was able to get away with this by mixing it with the Cleanse & Polish. This sort of diluted it down but was still effective and left my skin looking more awake and brighter as the name suggests. I have a few other masks I'm using at the moment so I don't think I'll buy another tube just yet but I might do in the future.
Liz Earle Botanical Shine Treatment* - I loved this treatment and the only reason I haven't bought another tube is that I'm trying to use up the products I have before buying new ones. Once I do, I'll definitely be buying another tube. Only a small amount of product leaves my hair feeling amazing and less frizzy looking.
Soap & Glory Mist You Madly Body Spray - Although I liked the scent of this, a mix of bergamot, blackcurrant, magnolia, freesia, vanilla and musk, I wouldn't buy another bottle as I prefer perfumes.
[A'Kin] Brightening Facial Mist* - I liked this and enjoyed using it before I discovered Caudalie Beauty Elixir which has become one of my favourite toners. I won't be buying another bottle although I did like the lavender scent and found it very calming.
Lush It's Raining Men Shower Gel - I have made this tiny bottle of shower gel last for such a long time as when I bought it, I thought it was going to be a limited edition scent and I hadn't bought the larger size yet. Now it's a permanent product I can't wait to buy another bottle. The honey scent is gorgeous and the actually shower gel is really moisturising.
L'Occitane Almond Body Scrub* - I had high hope of this body scrub as it smells amazing but it was a bit disappointing. It wasn't very abrasive but it was very moisturising so I don't think I'll buy the full size as I have the shower oil which has the same scent.
Caudalie Beauty Elixir - I've already bought another bottle of this and although I'm waiting till I finish my current toner, I cannot wait to use it again.
Alpha H Balancing Cleanser - This cleanser is very similar to the Mario Badescu Cream Soap in that it's very gentle and doesn't dry the skin out but it's just not as good. I wont be buying the full size.
Benefit Total Moisture Facial Cream - I loved the scent but the cream itself didn't wow me so I wouldn't buy the full size.
Lush Freeze Shower Gel - This shower gel has an amazing mint scent which is perfect for in the mornings when you need something to wake you up. It almost feels tingly! It's a retro product so is only available online but I think I will buy a bottle at some point.
Caudalie Cleansing Water x2 - I liked Caudalie's version of micellar solution but I seem to have gone through 80ml in a week so it would be very expensive to use all the time. Maybe as a treat I'd buy another bottle but I'm glad I tried it. I did love the grape scent though!
Peter Thomas Roth Mega-Rich Conditioner - I didn't find this rich at all despite it's name. It felt like a normal conditioner which was a bit disappointing and I wont be buying the full size.
Liz Earle Eyebright* - I've probably been through about 10 bottles of this stuff as it's so amazing. At the moment I only use it as an eye treatment when my eyes are feeling irritated but it's great as an make-up remover as well. I've already bought another bottle so I don't have to be without. I haven't found anything that is better than this or even similar!
La Roche-Posay Effeclar Duo x2 - I love this moisturiser and have done since the first time I used it. It's a great moisturiser for those with dry skin and acne prone skin which is basically mine. I've already bought the full size.
DHC Deep Cleansing Oil* - I was really excited to find this in my Glossybox and I like it the first few times I used it but recently it's just dried my skin out which is surprising for an oil. Because of this I wont be buying the full size but I am going to look for other oil cleansers to try.
Espa Resistance Bath Oil* - I love these bath oils and will be buying a full size of one when I finish the samples. Resistance is a mix of tea tree and eucalyptus and creates a very relaxing and moisturising bath.
