Beauty Box: Glossybox May 2013
I had high hopes for May's Glossybox* as it's their two year Birthday box but I found the contents in mine a bit disappointing. I feel like a lot of the brands in this box are repeats and while I know this can't be helped, I would like to discover some new brands.
Paul Mitchell Awapuhi Wild ginger Shine Spray - Apart from a quick spray I haven't really tested this out. I like the ginger scent but my hair is already pretty shiny because of the colour so I'm not sure how much use I'll really get from it.
Jelly Pong Pong Fairy Lashes Mascara - When I saw Jelly Pong Pong was included in the box I was a bit annoyed as I really don't like the products I've tried so far and I've tried quite a few. When I saw it was a mascara though I changed my mind as I love trying new ones. It's meant to be waterproof and feather light, lengthening and volumising. I wont be testing this for a while though because I've just opened a new mascara.
Headline Colours Nail Polish in Poolside Party - I like the colour, it reminds me of Barry M's Turquoise which is one of my favourites. It's a pretty opaque colour as well, nearly opaque in one coat.
Beautiful Movements Prime & Create Mixing Medium - This is a two in one product, you can use it as a primer or you can mix it with powders to create cream products. It feels very silicone-y on the skin although it's apparently an aloe vera based gel. Think I'll have to do a bit more reading about this one before I use it.
Collection Fast Stroke Liquid Liner - I think this was one of the first liquid liners I ever bought! It's an ok liner although I don't tend to reach for liquid as I don't think it suits my eye shape. I prefer to use a pencil as it looks softer on the eyes.
Finally included in the box was a set of Glossybox nail files which are a nice extra!
