So it's time to put together all the products from my monthly favourites into one big post. These are my 2012 favourites. Not all of them are new discoveries from this year, although quite a few are, some are products I've used for years.
This Works Perfect Heels Rescue Balm - This is a pretty new discovery as I only bought it in December but its fast become one of my all time favourites. I use this on my heels and elbows and it seriously works wonders. I get really bad eczema and dry skin on my elbows and this has completely transformed my skin. I don't know what the key ingredient is in this that makes it work so well but I think I'll be finishing this pretty quickly.
Korres Quince Body Butter - This tube has been empty for quite a while now but I've kept the packaging purely so I can use it for this photo. I probably never would have tried this product if it hadn't been in a beauty box but I'm so glad it did. It's one of the best body moisturisers I've tried and I can't wait to use up some products so I can buy another tube.
Lush Bubble Bars - You just can't beat a Lush bubble bar bath and a good book when trying to relax. I couldn't pick a favourite but these are a few I got for Christmas.
Liz Earle Super Balm - I'm currently on my third mini pot of this so it's about time I buy the full size I think. Although it can be used anywhere on the body I tend to use it on my cuticles and all over my hands as an overnight treatment. It really helps to improve the cuticles and the scent is really relaxing.
Lush Twilight Shower Gel - Why they've made this shower gel limited edition I have no idea. It's really hard to find a nice lavender scented shower gel or bubble bath but this is one of the best. It smells incredible and works really well. I need to buy a Twilight bath bomb so I can use them both at the same time. I really should have bought more bottles as well but hopefully they'll bring it back next year.
Paco Rabanne Lady Million Perfume - I only bought a new bottle of Lady Million the other week but I wore it a lot at the start of the year. It features in my top 5 perfumes of all time and I get a lot of compliments when I wear it.
Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub - I'd probably still class this as a favourite even if the product itself was horrible purely because of the scent. Luckily the product itself is a favourite too! It smells like coke and lime to me, nearly good enough to eat.
Barefoot SOS Dry Scalp Treatment Shampoo - This shampoo completely changed my scalp which I never thought would happen without a prescription from the doctors. If you have problems with eczema or a dry scalp you really should try this. I noticed a huge difference when I finished this and went onto using a different shampoo. I had to buy a second bottle of this straight away.
Ojon Volumizing Conditioner - I'm not normally a fan of your standard conditioners as I tend to use a deep conditioner on an everyday basis. I'm really impressed with this one from Ojon though so thought I'd include it. It's lightweight but still very moisturising.
Philip Kingsley Elasticizer - I completely see what all the hype is around this product! It's a pre-shampoo treatment which you leave on for about 15mins. It leaves my hair feeling amazing but it is quite expensive which is it's only downfall.
Ojon Rare Blend Oil & Moroccan Oil - I just couldn't decide which one I liked more out of these two oils. I get the same results from both and really control the frizz in my hair. I apply both to damp hair and leave to dry naturally. I also use both as a top up to my hair between washes. Hair oil is the only thing I've been using to style my hair this year.
Ahava Purifying Mud Mask* - It was between this mud mask from Ahava and Liz Earle's version. I went with this one purely because the tube looked neater for the photo. Both are my favourite and work in the same way to reduce spots and blackheads. I use a Liz Earle sponge to remover after leaving on the skin for about 10 mins.
Bioderma H20 Micellar Solution - How could I write a favourites post and not include Bioderma? It's one of my favourite eye make-up removers and the one I've used most this year. It doesn't irritate my sensitive eyes and removes every single trace of make-up.
Benefit It's Potent! Eye Cream - I haven't tried that many eye creams as I find it a bit of an unnecessary step in my skin care routine. I do want to change this thinking though and Benefits eye cream is helping. It's light but still moisturising. I also love the tiny packaging. I'm thinking of giving the Bobbi Brown eye cream a go next.
Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish - This is my all time favourite cleanser so how could I not include it. I've been using it for about 4 or 5 years now and still love it just as much. It gets rid of make-up so easily and is very gentle on the skin. I never get that horrible tight skin feeling after using this.
Caudalie Beauty Elixir - I've nearly finished my first bottle of this which says a lot. Toner was another product that just did not feature in my skin care routine for such a long time but now I apply it every day.
Caudalie SOS Vinosource Serum - This is probably my favourite discovery from beauty boxes and I actually went out and bought the full size. This was also the first serum I ever tried and has me hooked. I love the scent of this and how it makes my skin feel.
Weleda Skin Food* - If you suffer from eczema, especially on your face, you need to try this product from Weleda! You can see how well used my tube is and it's still going strong despite how long I've had it. It's a very thick balm that works wonders on any dry patches and can be used on the face as well.
Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer - This is definitely my favourite concealer of the year. It's a good match for my skin tone and I really like the coverage.
Liz Earle Signature Foundation* - This is another good colour match for my pale skin and I love how it feels on the skin. It's very lightweight but covers everything you need it to.
Urban Decay Primer Potion - This is the only eye shadow primer I've used this year and although I'm tempted to try other brands I'll probably still stick to this one. I also love the Sin version for when I want a bit of colour.
Urban Decay 24/7 Eyeliners - These two eye liners have definitely been my favourite this year. They're incredibly pigmented and last for such a long time.
Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara - I've tried quite a few mascaras this year that I've fallen in love with but this has to be my favourite. The brush is tiny and makes applying mascara to the bottom lashes so easy. It's also great to define and separate the top lashes too.
Fresh Sugar Lip Balm - There were quite a few lip balms that could have made it to this spot like the Nuxe lip balm or Korres lip butters but it just had to be this one. I love everything about it, the scent, the packaging and how soft it makes my lips feel. I can apply this at night and still feel it on my lips in the morning.
Mac Syrup Lipstick - This is a new edition to my lipsticks but has quickly become my favourite . It's such a nice everyday shade and I really like the formula.
Urban Decay Naked Palettes - I couldn't choose between the two so included both as I use them equally. The perfect palettes for any neutral eyeshadow wearer.
I found picking out my favourite nail polishes so hard! None of these are very winter-esque but they are my most used this year.
Sally Hansen Insta-grip Base Coat - I am still yet to find my favourite base coat but this is the one I've used most out of my collection. It makes polishes apply easier and enhances the colour.
Nubar Diamont Top Coat - This makes your polish dry incredibly quickly and makes your nails feel like gel nails.
Pixi Summer Pink - This has been my go-to toe nail polish and I love it so much.
Models Own Misty Grey - You can see how little of this polish I have left and I think MO have actually discontinued this shade for some reason. It's diffidently my favourite colour by them so I'll have to find an alternative.
Essie A Splash Of Grenadine - I love how this colour looks with my skin tone and the new brush and formula make it so easy to apply.
Essie Mint Candy Apple - This is probably my all time favourite nail polish. Again the new brush and formula makes it an even better polish.
Nubar Black Polka Dot - I love adding a layer of this on top of a plain polish and it instantly transforms the polish. You can see a few examples here.
