Lush Santa's Sack Bubble Bar

Bubble bars are my favourite products from Lush and this one is no exception. The sack is the usual soft bubble bar but the presents are harder meaning they've re-useable, similar to Bubblebeard.

Santa has a little something for you in his sack
We’ve all been good enough to deserve a festive bath of softening bubbles with the scent of fizzy drinks. With tonka, neroli and tagetes this bubble bar is kind to the skin and a gift to the nose.
Even as an adult, there is nothing quite so exciting as Santa’s sack, bulging with mystery delights for us – so this bubble bar will appeal to everyone.

Models Own 50% Off Sale

Thunder & Lightening // Mixed Up // Mushroom // Pink Blush // Aciiied.
I don't know why it's taken me so long to get this post up as the sale was months ago. I think I just lost it in all the draft blog posts I have and found it while I was going through them all. Unlike other years, I bought the bare minimum needed to get the 50% off from Models Own. Minimum spend before discount was £25 so I only bought 5 polishes. Mainly because the ones I wanted (mirror ball and wonderland) where either sold out or not included in the discount. I also have quite a few polishes from them.

I'm really happy with all of them except Mixed Up. It's a black and holographic glitter in a clear base but I thought it would be like Thunder & Lightening, holographic glitter in a black base. Why they'd have two polishes exactly the same I don't know but that's what I thought it would be like. I don't even think it looks that nice when actually on the nail either. It'…

Taylor Swift Wonderstruck

I've been meaning to try Taylor Swifts first perfume ever since it came out but I had others I wanted to use up before buying anymore. I've now managed to finish up several bottles so I treated myself to Wonderstruck and I've been wearing it everyday since.

First off the bottle is amazing! I love anything holographic and I really like the colour as well. I bought the gift set and smaller bottle so I didn't get the charm which is normally on the bottle. I'm going to eventually buy the 100ml so hopefully that'll have the charm on and make the bottle even better.

The gift set includes a 30ml bottle, 5ml bottle and a body lotion with the same scent. I went with this one as it was the same price as the 30ml bottle on it's own and I can never say no to mini perfume bottles.

Now onto the scent its self:

Top notes: Freesia, Green Tea, Apple Blossom, Raspberry, Dewberry.
Heart notes: Hawaiian White Hibiscus, Honeysuckle, Mimosa Flowers, Vanilla Whoopie Pie.
Base notes…

Lush Party Popper Bath Bomb

Mine sadly broke while in the bag and before I could photograph it. This is a new Christmas product and quite a strange one as it contains melon soap flakes which you can use to wash with!

Pop in the bath and let's get this party started
This fruity, fizzy party piece is a movable feast of delights. Contains everything you need for a celebration in your own bathtub.
Drop a Party Popper cone in your bath and watch it spin into action, as it goes on a spree across your bath spreading colours, fragrance, popping candy and soap confetti.  Softening your bathwater, fragrancing your skin and washing you clean.

Models Own Mirror Ball Collection

Disco Inferno // Freak Out! // Dancing Queen // Hot Stuff // Boogie Nights.
Finally I manged to get hold of the Mirror Ball polishes from Models Own and on 3 for 2 as well. When I first saw these I wasn't too impressed and was going to pass. The more posts I read though I started to change my mind and at that point they'd all sold out. I did manage to get them on and one from a Boots store and I think the MO website actually has them in stock at the moment. I think my favourites out of the five are Freak Out! and Hot Stuff.

Joliebox November 2012

I was really disappointed with this months Joliebox which doesn't usually happen. I usually like the majority of products they send in their boxes. The value of the box just wasn't there with the sachets and small tubes of product. I'm hoping this means next months box will be amazing as it'll be the Christmas box.

Topicrem Body Glitter 3D Effect - I'm really not a fan of glitter in creams so I'm not going to be using this. Another one for the giveaway box.

Marvis Toothpaste - A cute little tube which I'll be saving for when I next go away as I always forget toothpaste!

Dead Sea Spa Magik Facial Wash - I wasn't a fan of the last Dead Sea Spa Magik product I used, I think it was a body moisturiser, so I haven't got great expectations for this. Again, another one I don't think I'll end up using and will go into the box.

Yardley Royal Diamond Perfume - I'm probably the only one who likes getting perfume samples in beauty boxes but I love tryin…

Glossybox November 2012

I cannot believe it's already time to share what's in Novembers Glossybox* and that it's nearly Christmas! I saw a sneak peak of this months box and was so excited to see a sample of Burberry Body perfume which I've wanted for ages. As you can see I didn't get that in my box which I was pretty disappointed about. I think it's a really good box but that did put a dampener on it.

Alison Claire Mango Body Butter - This is probably my favourite item in my box and has spent the past week in my handbag so I can apply it on my dry elbows throughout the day. It smells amazing, exactly like mango, but somehow reminds me of chewits. Although I have a lot of body moisturisers I think I'll have to buy the full size once I finish this.

Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant - This looks like an interesting product but I don't know if I'll actually use it. I have very sensitive skin so I tend to stay away from exfoliants and stick with a muslin cloth.

Dr Jart+ Water Infuse…

Barry M Blueberry Gelly - NOTD

I'm not sure if it's my skin tone or what but certain polishes look extremely different on me than on others when I look at google images. This polish from Barry M is one of them. It looks darker and less pastel on me but I really like it.

This is one of the new Gelly polishes which have a very glossy finish so no topcoat is needed. It was thinner in formula than I was expecting and needed three coats to become fully opaque. Each layer dried really quickly though and I didn't have any problems with bubbling.

I bought mine from NailPolishDirect. It's the same price as ordering on, £3.99, but you don't have to pay for delivery.

Barry M Glitters

Yellow Topaz // Black Multi // Gold Mine // Ruby // Rose Quartz.
I used a 20% off discount code and bought some of the new Barry M glitters with my first pay from my new job the other week. I haven't read too much about them, just the odd post here and there, so thought you'd like to see them. Although the Barry M online swatches are better than most they're still not perfect. I'm also hoping to get some NOTD's up as soon as possible.

I'm most excited about Ruby as it's the perfect polish to use as a jelly sandwich. In fact I bought Barry M's Nude polish so I can recreate Pretty Digits NOTD.

Lets Make A Blanket Fort And Hide From People

24 Days Of Christmas With Liz Earle

I'm spoilt for choice with advent calendars this year as there's so many to choose from this year. Last year there seemed to be only the Selfridges version but now a lot more brands are jumping on the band wagon. Being the nail polish junkie that I am I couldn't help buying the Ciate version.

Along with that one and my chocolate one I also have one from Liz Earle* to open each day in December. This one contains 24 mini travel friendly products of skincare, bodycare, haircare or fragrance so is the perfect way to try out nearly everything from Liz Earle before buying the full sizes.

This advent calendar is more expensive than the others at £100 but the quality of the products is a lot higher and I know I'm going to use and like everything.
