Mint Green Nail Polish

Mint is my favourite colour so I've been looking for the perfect mint green polish. I still haven't found the ultimate one but I have found the colour I want, just the formula is pretty rubbish.

Eyeko Vintage // Maybelline Turquoise Lagoon // Mavala Lagoon // China Glaze For Audrey // Pop Mint Magic // Essie Mint Candy Apple // Revlon Minted // Orly Jealous, Much?

You can see that the first four are too green or turquoise and slightly too dark. I'm looking for more of a pastel shade. Also one without shimmer which is my problem with Mavala Lagoon.

Out of all of these the truest mint colour, and the one I prefer, is Revlon Minted but it has a horribly thin formula which takes 3 coats. Essie's Mint Candy Apple has the best formula out of all of them but it's a little too blue, especially when on my hands. If you mixed these two together then you'd get the perfect mint polish I'm looking for.

What is your favourite mint polish? Any others I haven't tried?

  1. The China Glaze polish is gorgeous! I love the quality of China Glaze, it lasts ages!

  2. I like the look of Maybelline Turquoise Lagoon & Pop Mint Magic - i don't know why but I don;t have many mint greens in my collection.

  3. China Glaze Re-Fresh Mint is a very, very close match for Revlon Minted and it has a better formula.

    1. I actually bought Re-fresh Mint the other day! :) xx

  4. Sally Hensen X-treme Wear in Mint Sorbet is basically Revlon - Minted but in a 1-2 coater polish :) x

  5. Where did you buy the pop beauty polish

    1. From ASOS, not sure if they sell it anymore but I wouldn't recommend it! Formula is horrible :) xx
