The Best Of 2010
Instead of a December favourites I’m doing a best of 2010, these are products I’ve discovered this year, have fallen in love with and will re-purchase over and over again.
MUA eye shadows are by far the best eye shadows I’ve tried this year, they have amazing pigmentation, a great colour range and are only £1 each. I only own 3 at the moment but I’m planning on picking up some more the next time I’m in Superdrug. You can see swatches here.
Urban Decay primer potion is not a new product I’ve tried this year but the sin version is. It is the best of both worlds, keeps your eye shadows in place all day as well as a lovely wash of colour. When I’m in a rush I use this alone and it looks great.
Urban Decay 24/7 eye liners are amazing and I’m definitely going to have to buy the full versions of these two. They’re so pigmented and last a long time on the water line, they’re also easy to blend to create an easy smokey eye.
Clinique high lengths mascara and Rimmel glam eyes mascara work so well together!
Revlon lipstick in pink pout is a lovely matt pink which isn’t at all drying and I really want to try more from this range.
Mac lady gaga lipstick is my go to colour for when going out. I hardly use any of my other lipsticks compared to these two and that’s saying a lot about them!
The Body Shop lip butter in pink grapefruit and Korres lip butter in wild rose have kept my lips is great condition this year.
I couldn’t pick just one favourite lip gloss as I love Barry m’s lip gloss wands and Revlon's lip glosses. You can see some swatches here.
I haven’t bought any perfumes this year which I’m really please about as I’m trying to use up what I have at the moment. I was sent this Liz Earle perfume thought which I fell in love with as soon as I tried it and is my most used perfume this year.
I was going to pick individual products like moisturiser, body scrub, shower gel etc but Haus Of Gloi has impressed me so much as a brand overall I’ve chosen them for each category. I love their body scrubs, lotion, soap, whipped soap and perfume oils and the scents are amazing! I can’t recommend this brand enough, the only downside is the shipping costs.
So those are my favourite products from 2010, I tried to limit it to one or two products per category and I think I did quite well! I haven’t included any face products as I just haven’t been using them or really buying them. I also haven’t included any hair products as I haven’t really found any this year that I really love.
What are your favourites from this year?
