Though I’d show you what I’ve bought over the past few weeks :)
I am now on a make-up spending ban until the end of the month where I’m getting a few things from Mac whilst I buy the giveaway prizes. I definitely need to stop buying so many lip products! My lip drawer’s getting fuller and fuller!
Swatches of everything will be up in the next few weeks, today wasn't a very good day for taking photos, really overcast and miserable.
My first gel eyeliner is Sleek’s ink pot in Dominatrix and I love the little eyeliner brush that comes with it. This is also my first tinted lip conditioner, I’m thinking of buying Macs version to see how they compare. This is Electro Peach, the colour looks quite scary but once on the lips give a nice subtle colour. It also smells amazing, very impressed with this and will definitely be buying more.
I bought these Models Own lip balms from the amazing ASOS sale, a couple of them are still available, with prices ranging from £1.75-£2.50 (normally £5). Clockwise starting with the baby pink, Ballet Pink, Blackberry, Glass, Tangerine, Red Hot and Fuchsia.
The first three are sheer giving a subtle colour to the lips where as the other three are full colour. Really impressed with these, I just wish they had more colours so I could have more!
These are my first Illamasqua products but they where so hard to photograph! Once again these were bought from ASOS’s sale for £7.50 each. Lily-Rose is a gorgeous bright pink and when on the lips looks like a glossy lip stain. Torture is a bright peachy orange and looks great on the lips. Both smell really nice and I love the applicator.
The Topshop balm is water melon flavour and smells amazing! It’s a simple clear lip balm which works as a great lipstick base but not for really dry lips. The lip glaze is a lovely rose pink called Antique. I really want to try more of these! The lip brush is ok, I just wished it had a lid, I wouldn’t buy another one though. I really don’t like the liner brush, I tried drawing a line with the Sleek gel eyeliner on my hand and it was a huge fail. The brush I got with the gel eyeliner works 100 times better!
Me and mum went to Aldi for the first time the other day to look at the face creams and I picked up this mascara to try out. I think it was around £2/3 and is quite good. I really hate the smell though! It smells of flowers which isn’t good for someone who has really bad hay fever!
I finally picked up the infamous Rain polish by Eyeko, I’ve yet to try it but will post a NOTD when I do.
xoxo
