Haus Of Gloi

I first heard about Haus of Gloi while watching haul videos from several different youtubers. I wasn’t that interested about ordering until I read Charlotte’s blog posts about them, then I knew I had to make an order!  Since this was my first order I kept it small and ordering the sample sizes of the scrubs and body lotion.
The scent descriptions are spot on for every product and it’s great to find them on the labels too so you can quickly check what they smell of. The labels for everything are excellent and you can tell a lot of effort has gone into designing them. I really like when a brand is consistent in the packaging and it always stands out for me.

Apothecary sugar exfoliant - Old books, bubbling concoctions, herbs and creaking floor boards! A pure essential oil blend of: Lemongrass, rosemary, blood cedar, sweet basil, lavender and the tiniest drop of vetiver. The formulation of this scrub is perfect for this time of year, it leaves your skin feeling really moisturised but without that horrible greasy feeling. I personally don’t need to apply any moisturiser when using it.
Moon Dog soft bubbling scrub - Solar storms erupt: pure cracked coconut, dry sandalwood essence, heated with nutmeg and clove. This scent is amazing and really want to get it in everything! Sandalwood is quickly becoming one of my favourite scents and is perfect for winter. I love the formulation of this scrub too. You rub it into damp skin and almost emulsifies until the sugar has dissolved leaving your skin perfectly soft. Both of these scrubs are perfect for everyday use and don’t leave a greasy residue.
Honey Tree body emulsion - Quite rich! Right from the bee hive - honey amplified by seductive essence of resinous vanilla, darkened by a passing waft of mild rare wood smoke. This has the strongest scent out of all the products I’ve tried and literally lasts a day if not more. If I’ve used this as a full body moisturiser then I won’t use perfume as to be honest, you really don’t need it!

Lavender Sugar Soap - Straight French lavender and a heaping spoonful of pure muscadovo sugar! I love the scent of this, anything lavender is always a hit with me. It also has a aniseed/liquorice scent so I think it’s one you’ll either love or hate, just like marmite! The formulation of these soaps are also great, they’re creamy and lather nicely. They’re also a really good size, the same size as Lush soaps if you ordered online and for the same price.

Imp Soap - This little fellow longs to be your bath time companion! Peculiar passion fruit mingling with sun cured apricots, perfectly pink grapefruit juice and innocent whispers of wet mimosa blooms. Once again another great soap! They’re so strong and last forever.

I really wish they would make shower gels! When ever I use any of these products I’m always thinking  “ohhh this scent would work so well as a shower gel” or “I really need a shower gel to go with this soap”.

As the products are coming from America and being shower products they can be quite heavy so shipping will get expensive. If you’re ordering for the first time definitely buy the sample jars of the body scrubs and lotions to see if you like the formula and scents. Once you know what you like you can order more :)

I’ve just ordered a whipped soap from the cyber Monday sale which I’m really excited to get! Will blog about it once it arrives.

Have you tried Haus of Gloi before?
